Everlasting thanks to Iwona for helping me to improve my sleep. I was struggling with this for a few years and tried many things to get a good night's sleep again. As nothing really worked, I spoke to my GP lately. While she strongly recommended against taking medication, she sent me a link to some online resources that included Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). Although I was a bit skeptical towards CBT in coaching, I gave it a try. Reading the instructions and guidance, I soon realized that a self-study program would not work for me. What I needed was human interaction in the real environment. Iwona was an excellent listener and conversationalist! I thoroughly enjoyed the meetings. She helped me to improve my sleep after I started to change my assumptions. Once again, thank you Iwona - KK
During coaching sessions, the focus is on things to achieve and go forward to rather than critique. Not that that was a problem before, but I still feel that this has changed things. I also think that taking things out with work into consideration is a huge step. An amazing step for an even better workplace and a great coach to work with. Iwona has helped me to identify my career path and strengths by giving me a good idea to allocate a schedule for the system training so I could make progress and develop my technical skills which will be my goal to step up to the next position. She introduced to me a few techniques to manage stress by sharing videos of breathing techniques to reduce my stress, improve my mood, and calm my mind which I find a very helpful practice. Additionally, time management is one of the challenges that I have and helps me to apply my work according to the 4 D’s that she shared. Lastly, she helped me to unlock my strengths and potential to bring out the best in me by sharing a few points during our discussion that I could use in building my career. To find my passion in life where my strengths are, find a hobby or interest, write a journal, and listen to podcasts or what inspires me. She did not only want to maximize my professional potential but also to improve my personal life and well-being. - AG
Iwona, I would like to express my gratitude for mentoring session we had. I really appreciate the fact that you were my mentor during the previous months. It was a great opportunity to learn new things that helps me improve myself professionally. There have been many changes since I started my new role. New things to learn and to reveal. Focus hotels are totally different from the full-service ones. This hotel pushes me to be more dynamic and active. Always in contact with the guests. Relationship between me and the guests become more personal. After the storm ended, the quietness reigns with no issues.
